Now that Barack Obama has won the election and his family will be moving into the White House soon, itʼs time to deliver on his promises and adopt a rescue dog. We, at Lil Paws Maltese Rescue, believe the best dog for the job, is a Maltese. Here are a few reasons why:

- Our long elegant and silky hair lacks an undercoat, and is pure bright white in color. Weʼre non-allergenic (great for Obamaʼs girls) and donʼt shed.
- We are gentle, good natured and amiable (unlike the White House press corps).
- We love to be social and know just how to behave. No worries about embarrassing international incidents.

We are 2 Maltese dogs and LoLLy is a rescue and we can say that rescue dogs are outstanding additions to any pack. Us Malteses are everything this article says, plus we can impersonate many things, like fluffy mops when we scoot across the floor, or fuzzy ghosts at Halloween since we're all white, or an over-sized cotton ball.
